You may have been attracted by the complex and various shapes made by digital LED Screens however in the TV Studio, shopping mall, tunnel, hotel, bars, etc. but you should know that they are totally different! They are other types of led screens. 
 
Different from normal indoor advertising LED displays, the curved flex led screen is composed by flexible PCB and bottom shell, so they are particularly soft and can be folded at different angles.
 
So what applications are flex led displays used in?
 
1. Curved screen:
You maybe know that it is easier to make concave led display, as long as the angle is not that big , we can still make with normal led screens. Also, the steel structure should be into a curved shape too. However, if the inner curvature is relatively large or with convex shape, then it cannot be produced with conventional display modules, but going with flex led displays (what we call soft flexible led modules)


 
2. Cylindrical screen:
 
In some hotels, conference rooms, bars, etc., there are many cylindrical pillars in the lobby. Designers will lower these pillars into display screens and play some special videos to enhance the decoration level or create a special atmosphere. Conventional screens are very complicated to make, but soft modules are easy to make.


 
3. Some other special shapes such as waves and ribbons

 

The positions of waves and special shapes of ribbons are also concepts often used by designers. How to actually realize them still needs to be done by LED display manufacturers. Now flex LEDs have successfully solved this problem.
 
So, there are many applications for flex led video walls. The main application is that the modules are relatively soft, foldable, and bendable.
