The outdoor advertising LED screen project was met with unique challenges due to its proximity to the sea coastal resort, The installation with 12.48 x 1.92m Whale Series P5.7 LED display, was part of a major promotional effort to enhance the resort’s visibility and attract more guests. However, installing such a large outdoor display in a seaside environment posed several critical issues that needed to be addressed, particularly concerning corrosion resistance.
Challenges:
The main challenge was the extremely corrosive seaside atmosphere. Long-term exposure to salty air and high humidity accelerates the aging of materials, especially metals and electronics. Traditional outdoor LED screens are failure to properly handle the elements can lead to screen failure, image degradation, or, in the worst case, a complete system crash. Another important issue was ensuring that the screens functioned properly and displayed vivid, clear images in all weather conditions, even direct sunlight and heavy rain, so that the advisements still can be seen clearly.
Solution with Whale Series P5.7:
The Whale Series P5.7 provided the perfect solution for these challenges. It is specifically designed for harsh outdoor environments including coastal locations, thanks to its advanced anti-corrosion technology. The display frame and all components are coated and treated with corrosion-resistant processing, so that they can protect against moisture and salt exposure.
